BIOLOGICAL PURIFICATION
Aerobic biological purification processes are based on the metabolic action of microorganisms, mainly bacteria, which use the organic substances and oxygen dissolved in sewage for their degradation and reproduction.
TECNO AQUA realizes installations of CAS type (Conventional Activated Sludge) thanks to years of experience.
CAS PROCESS: RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT
Conventional activated sludge plants are the most common example of aerobic wastewater treatment.
In activated sludge plants, the biomass is present in a suspended form within the liquid mass; the bacterial populations responsible for the treatment take the form of flakes kept in suspension through air blowing.
